Since 2014, the foundation has partnered with Breakthrough1 (formerly JDRF) to help fight Type 1 diabetes, raising over $300,000 and counting by participating annually in Beat the Bridge, to fund research and support families impacted by the disease. It also collaborates with the American Diabetes Association, sponsoring the launch of Project Power, an innovative program that teaches young people healthy eating habits and encourages active lifestyles to prevent diabetes.
Internationally, the foundation has invested more than $500,000 in Haiti, supporting the construction of a school, operating mobile health clinics, hosting youth football and cheer camps, funding the construction of homes, and providing clean water to communities in need.
In addition, the Cliff Avril Family Foundation has donated more than $100,000 to impactful organizations such as Odessa Brown Children’s Clinic, World Central Kitchen, Hope for Haiti, and WE, extending its
reach to critical health and humanitarian causes.
At home, the foundation uplifts youth through annual football camps in Clay County, Florida—Cliff’s hometown—offering mentorship, skills training, and positive role models since 2013. The beloved Family Fun Day, launched in 2014, brings the local community together each year for a free day of food, fun, and fellowship.
Through these initiatives, the Cliff Avril Family Foundation continues to inspire hope, promote health, and empower the next generation—proving that teamwork off the field can transform lives around the world.
